We are renovating a home in which all the interior divisions are made new with plasterboard panels and we see that we have partitions of different colors. Do you know what the different colors of the plasterboard mean?
The most common plates are those of PLADURO N. They are plates for standard uses that do not require special specifications. They are distinguished by their grayish color and are used to carry out the vast majority of masonry divisions.
We will also find green plates PLADUR WA. These plates should be used in humid areas (kitchens and bathrooms) as they have water-repellent properties and reduce the possible absorption of water.
Finally, the least used but that we can also find in home renovations are the plates. PLADUR FOC. They are plates with fiberglass inside that improve behavior against fire. They are usually placed behind chimneys. These are pink.
There are other types of plasterboard panels with special impact resistance characteristics, with incorporated thermal/acoustic insulation and other features to solve the needs of your home.
